Sabritec is AS9100 Certified

Sabritec is pleased to announce their certification to AS9100 Rev B for both the Irvine and Tijuana facilities..

TUV USA, Inc. certified that Sabritec has established and applies a management system for Design and Manufacture of Connectors ( Coax, Triax, EMI/EMP Filter and Fibre Channel), Cable Assemblies, Integrated Electro-Mechanical Assemblies and Custom Interconnect Solutions that fulfill the requirements of ISO 9001:2000/AS9100 Rev B. Sabritec’s certificate is valid until August 2011.

The aerospace industry established the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) for the purpose of achieving significant improvements in quality and safety, and reductions in cost, throughout the value stream. This organization includes representatives from aerospace companies in America, Asia/Pacific, and Europe.

This document standardizes the greatest extent possible, quality management system requirements for the aerospace industry. The establishment of common requirements, for use at all levels of the supply chain, by organizations around the world, should result in improved quality and safety, and decreased costs, due to the elimination or reduction of organization-unique requirements and the resultant variation inherent in these multiple expectations.
